【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesguidelinesforthedeterminationofthenumberconcentrationandsizedistributionofultrafineaerosolsandnanoaerosolsbyuseofmobilityparticlesizers(alsocalleddifferentialmobilityanalysers).Onlytheparticlefractionoftheaerosolisconsidered.Forultrafineaerosolsandnanoaerosols,exposuremetricssuchasthenumberandsurfaceareaconcentrationareimportant.ThisInternationalStandardalsogivesguidelinesforthedeterminationofworkplaceexposuretoultrafineaerosolsandnanoaerosols.Specifically,thedifferentialmobilityanalysingsystem(DMAS),nowavailablefromseveralvendors,isdiscussed.Principlesofoperation,problemsofsamplingintheworkplaceenvironment,calibration,equipmentmaintenance,measurementuncertainty,andreportingofmeasurementresultsarecovered.Potentialproblemsandlimitationsaredescribed,whichneedtobeaddressedwhenlimitvaluesarefixedandcompliancemeasurementscarriedout.
