【摘要】:Thistestmethodmaybeusedfordeterminingcompliancewithaspecificationformaximumcashmerecoarse-haircontentandisrequiredtobeusedfordeterminingcompliancewithSpecificationD2817.IncaseofadisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestresultswhenusingTestMethodD2816foracceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandthesuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedfortheinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,thetwopartiesshouldtakeagroupoftestspecimensthatareashomogeneousaspossibleandthatarefromalotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimensshouldthenberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.TheaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingStudent''st-testforunpaireddataandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwopartiesbeforethetestingisbegun.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrectedorthepurchaserandthesuppliermustagreetointerpretfuturetestresultsinthelightoftheknownbias.Whentheproductbeingtestedhasacashmerecoarse-haircontentthatdepartssignificantlyeitherwayfromthespecifiedamount,thesequentialtestproceduredescribedhereinwillresultinasubstantialreductioninthenumberofobservationsrequiredforadecisionatthestatedlevelofconfidence.Ontheotherhand,whentheproductbeingtestedhasacashmerecoarse-haircontentthatapproachesthespecifiedamount,thesequentialprocedureensuresthatthenecessaryincreasednumberofobservationsshallbemadetosecureacorrectdecisionatthestatedlevelofconfidence.1.1Thistestmethodcoversasequentialprocedurefordeterminingwhetherornotthecashmerecoarse-haircontentofasampleexceedsaspecifiedvalue.Note18212;Forthemaximumallowablecashmerecoarse-haircontentincashmere,refertoSpecificationD2817.Note28212;Forthequantitativeanalysisofcashmerehairandblendsofcashmerehairandotherfibers,refertoTestMethodsD629.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicableonlytocashmerehairintheformofroving,yarn,orfabric,andtothecashmerehaircontentofblendswithotherfibers,wheretheexpectedcashmerecoarse-haircontentisnotmorethanfivemasspercent(seeFootnoteCofTable1).Forgreaterexpectedmasspercentagesofcashmerecoarse-hair,seeTestMethodsD629.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.TABLE1SequentialAccept-RejectNumbersforSelectedSpecificationsANumberofFi-bersCountedSpecification,Length%B0.20.30.40.5
