【摘要】:ThispartofISO15223specifiesaprocessfordeveloping,selectingandvalidatingsymbolsforinclusioninISO15223-1.ThepurposeofthispartofISO15223istoensurethatsymbolsincludedinISO15223-1arereadilyunderstoodbythetargetgroup.IfthesymbolvalidationprocessdetailedinthispartofISO15223hasbeencompliedwith,thentheresidualrisks,asdefinedinISO14971andIEC62366,associatedwiththeusabilityofamedicaldevicesymbolarepresumedtobeacceptable,unlessthereisobjectiveevidencetothecontrary.ThispartofISO15223isnotrestrictedtosymbolsintendedtomeetregulatoryrequirementsorspecifiedinregulatoryguidelinesonlabelling.
