【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisbasedonISO8879.Itdealswithnegotiatedinterchangeandisdesignedtobeasopenandflexibleaspossibleinordertocoveralltypesandformsofterminologicalentrystructuresthatoccurinterminologicaldatabasesandspecializeddictionaries,aswellasamongvariousapplications,operatingsystems,andhardwareplatforms.ISO12200isprimarilydesignedforusewithterminologicaldatathatcanbestored,read,retrievedandmanipulatedbyacomputer.Itisnotlimitedtoanyspecificsoftwareorhardwareconfigurations.TheprimarypurposeofthisInternationalStandardistoprovideguidanceforprogrammersandanalystsindesigningexportandimportsoftwarefordatainterchangebetweenterminologydatabases.TheDocumentTypeDefinition(DTD)specifiedinthisInternationalStandardpermitspartialvalidationofinterchangefilesusingageneral-purposeSGMLparser(i.e.,con-firmationthatthedocumentconformstothestructurespecifiedbytheDTD).NOTE-Beforeaninitialinterchangebetweennewpartners,somelevelofdataexamination,negotiation,andadjustmentofconversionroutinescanbenecessary.ThisInternationalStandardcanalsobeusedforthecreationofconversionroutinestoaccommodatedataencodedaccordingtoISO6156.ItisrecommendedthatthisInternationalStandardbeusedinconjunctionwithISO12620.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifythestructureandfunctionofindividualdatabases.
