【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesmethodsoftestforrigidlockedsocket-and-spigotjointsusingelastomericsealingringsforplasticspipingsystemsofglass-reinforcedthermosettingplastics(GRP)forpressureandnon-pressureapplications.Thisstandardisonlyapplicabletothejointandcoversmethodsoftesttoproveitsdesign.Thetestsdetailedin6.1to6.4inclusiveareapplicabletorigidlockedsocket-and-spigotjointsintendedtobeusedinburiedorabovegroundapplications.NOTE.Theonlypurposeoftestingtheresistancetonegativepressureistogiveadequatesafetyagainstinfiltrationofpollutantsthroughthejointintothefluidcarriedinthepipingsystem.Underthesetestconditionspipeswithlowstiffnessesmayrequiresupporttopreventthemfrombuckling.Thistestprocedureisapplicabletojointsforpipesandfittingsofallnominalsizes.Inadditionthebendingtestscoveredin6.5canbeusedtoprovethedesignwherethejointsareintendedtobeusedinburiedapplicationswherethesoilsareknowntohaveverypoorpropertiesorwhereparticularabovegroundapplicationsmaketheiruseappropriate.Thetestsdetailedin6.5areapplicabletojointsforpipesandfittingsuptoandincludingDN600.Alltestsgiveninthisstandardareapplicableforevaluatingjointsintendedforapplicationsconveyingliquidsattemperaturesuptoandincluding50℃andmaybeapplicabletojointsforuseathighertemperatures(seeclause2).
